Prayer Against Every Evil – By Exorcist Father Gabriele Amorth
Beloved and recently-deceased Vatican exorcist, Father Gabriele Amorth, penned a “Prayer Against Every Evil” to fight against spiritual attacks.

Why pray the “Prayer Against Every Evil?
In a world pervaded by skepticism, it’s easy to assume that none of our trials are spiritual. Yet, if we consider that Saints like Catherine of Siena and Padre Pio, were themselves tormented by demons, why not us?
Referring to demons, Padre Pio said: “The Devil does not want to lose this battle. He takes on many forms. For several days now, he has appeared with his brothers who are armed with batons and pieces of iron. One of the difficulties is that they appear in many disguises. “There were several times when they threw me out of my bed and dragged me out of my bedroom. I am patient, however, and I know Jesus, Our Lady, my Guardian Angel, St. Joseph and St. Francis are always with me.”
If the Devil was able to attack a holy man like St Pio, who are we to deny that it’s possible? However we not need worry because as Padre Pio said, our Lady, our guardian angel and a multitude of Saints are with us, if we put our trust in God.
Make no mistake: the best way to fight against evil is to remain in a state of grace, attend Mass and receive the sacraments.
Why should we fight to stay in a state of grace, aside from not being sent to hell? St Teresa of Avila inspires us:
In a state of grace, the soul is like a well of limpid water, from which flow only streams of clearest crystal. Its works are pleasing both to God and man, rising from the River of Life, beside which it is rooted like a tree.
The Church gives us lots of resources to fight the Devil’s wiles, including Catholic prayers of protection that we can use as well.

Prayer Against Every Evil
Spirit of our God, Father, Son, and Holy Spirit, Most Holy Trinity, Immaculate Virgin Mary, angels, archangels, and saints of heaven, descend upon me. Please purify me, Lord, mold me, fill me with yourself, use me.
Banish all the forces of evil from me, destroy them, vanish them, so that I can be healthy and do good deeds.
Banish from me all spells, witchcraft, black magic, malefice, ties, maledictions, and the evil eye; diabolic infestations, oppressions, possessions; all that is evil and sinful, jealously, perfidy, envy; physical, psychological, moral, spiritual, diabolical aliments.
Burn all these evils in hell, that they may never again touch me or any other creature in the entire world.
I command and bid all the power who molest me – by the power of God all powerful, in the name of Jesus Christ our Savior, through the intercession of the Immaculate Virgin Mary – to leave me forever, and to be consigned into the everlasting hell, where they will be bound by Saint Michael the archangel, Saint Gabriel, Saint Raphael, our guardian angels, and where they will be crushed under the heel of the Immaculate Virgin Mary. Amen.

Please pray for my son who has been under the care of a psychologist, psychiatrist, medical doctor, and counseling for 5 years. There seems to be no relief or reason for his depression and anger. He simply can’t control it. He has attacked 2 of his siblings and we had to ask him to leave our home for good. As his mother, I am sure there are demons influencing him.
Can you see a Priest, he may need an exorcism. Having masses said and praying the rosary will help him xx

I am a Roman Catholic. I have seen some dark figures included a pitch black eye on the wall and even I heard evil voices in my right ear with my hearing aid in my life. I returned back to Catholicism.

Why does this prayer begin off with “Spirit Of God,” but then proceeds with “Father, Son, and Holy Spirit…”? The Holy Spirit IS the Spirit Of God.

Perhaps it references Genesis 1:2 which says that “the spirit of God moved over the waters”?

You should get some holy water and sprinkle it over your household items as well as the doors and windows. I do this regularly.
Pray The St Micheal prayer, The Guardian Angel prayer, call upon God to purify you and your house. And use Holy Water as well as The rosary. I had the same issues a while back ❤️
